Cops & Cones Event Will Be Held In Northern Westchester

Ice cream will be on the menu later this week, as the Westchester County Police Department hosts a special event to increase cohesion between the community and cops tasked with protecting them.

The Westchester County Police Department is preparing to host their Cops & Cones event from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30 in the Blackeby municipal parking lot in Mount Kisco. The event is designed to allow the community to get to know the county police officers keeping them safe each day.

During the event, there will be several displays of police vehicles and specialized equipment, showcasing how officers utilize them to save the day. There will also be go-karts, inflatable amusements and other events to entertain the family.

A rain date has been scheduled for Friday, Aug. 31.
